It's time.
After over fifteen years in the broadcast
industry, it is time to move on.
What an incredible journey I have had both on and off the air. I was given the
opportunity to meet some of the most talented disc jockeys and announcers in the
business. The smallest radio markets in this country employee some of the biggest stars
I have ever had the pleasure of hearing, meeting and working alongside. A few names like Randy Savage (pro), Chico Banana (monster), Chaz Malibu
(monster) and Johnny Von (monster) come to mind. Others like Terry Young, Shark,
Paul Sands and Ty Sante' resonate as well.
Without a doubt the person that has done more for me professionally in all my
years is Dave Dart. You won't meet a brighter, more successful, business savvy
broadcast professional than Dave. Dave, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your inspiration,
professionalism, direction and passion. It truly made me the consumate
professional I am today.
With that, I say goodbye to broadcasting. I will miss the earlier memories
before corporate homogenization.
Oh, and I'm still waiting for Clear Channel and Infinity to play the screw-up
cart and get back to regular programming.
